A new beach club in Split for full enjoyment in food, music and cocktails
The name of the newly opened beach club in Split – Gooshter within the Le Méridien Lav hotel reveals an idyllic interior, food that merges the tastes of the East and South, original cocktails and a great atmosphere.
Gooshter is a story about space, time and nature, about creating the atmosphere that follows the rhythm of the coast from sunset until sundown; sunbathing and swimming on the beach, relaxing in shadows between pine trees, enjoying a cocktail, great food and sea view from the main terrace.
The concept of the new club in the vicinity of Split immediately won the hearts of not only the guests of Hotel Le Méridien Lav, but also many fans of sun, beach and loads of fun who decided to experience all that Gooshter Beach Club promised to deliver.
The very name of the club, which unites the gušte (delights) and the character of ubiquitous animals from the Mediterranean (lizards), promises something new and different.
The imagination is tickled by a symbolic representation of a lizard, which in spring comes out of winter hibernation and from ancient mythology to the present day marks the beginning of a new life cycle, the arrival of warmer days and the awakening of nature.
Set in the white sand, the hot sun and the scent of freshly prepared food, this designer club has become a new favorite place to gather and relax all senses for many visitors. The architectural studio Zarez from Split decorated the interior.
The gong hit exactly at noon marks the beginning of the daily program, alternating with DJs, the smells of specialties and a glass of champagne and cocktails whose tastes are “to die for”. This is not surprising since cocktails in Gooshter are prepared by top cocktail masters, who take all our favorite drinks to a whole new level.
The fundamental elements of the Dalmatian coast: sun, shadow, sea, pebbles, stone and pines, are interwoven with each other in amalgam of sensations and pleasant activities in the area of the beach and pine forest, promenades and terraces.
The bar area is designed as a shady forest shelter with a steel and trellis canopy that follows the natural form of terrain and pine.
